Handmade 100% cotton project carry bag with long handles and boxed corners

Handmade in 100% cotton fabrics and straps.

These are our own design – made especially with the knitter to carry their current work about.

The bags are long and slim – with a deep square shape.  Shaped so you can take just a ball for the day – long enough to protect your needles and your pattern.

The lining is also fully boxed so there are no seams or snags to catch your work on.

The outer shell is a cotton canvas – and the inner is a lighter cotton poplin.  To preserve the overall softness of the bags there is no interfacings.

The carry straps are a cotton herring bone tape – each strap is 2 layers topstitched together for extra stability – and there are reinforcing stiches for the straps hidden in the making.   The straps are just over 3ft along their length – just long enough to put over your shoulder – or hook your arm through – but also short enough to carry by the handles.

The designs vary – depends on what fabric is about at the time – but they are always 100% cottons so that you can pop them in the wash, and they will last for years.  – and yes, you earth conscious folk – you can cut them up and put them in the compost!!
